General Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between:

And any person making a reservation via the website www.aka-lodge.fr.
1. Purpose
These GTCS apply to all online reservations made for a stay at Hôtel AKA Lodge Lyon Est.
Booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.
2. Reservation
The customer may book online via our secure reservation system.
The booking is considered final once a confirmation email has been received.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation in case of unavailability or invalid payment.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT included), based on the applicable VAT rate on the booking date.
Rates are subject to change, but the reservation will be charged based on the rate in effect at the time of confirmation.
The local tourist tax is charged in addition, in accordance with local regulations.
4. Payment
Payment may be required in full or in part at the time of booking, depending on the selected rate (standard, non-refundable, etc.).
Payments are processed securely through our approved provider.
5. Modification / Cancellation
Flexible rate:
Free cancellation up to 12:00 p.m. on the day before arrival.
After this deadline, the first night (or more) may be charged.
Non-refundable rate:
No modification or refund is possible after booking.

6. No-show
In case of no-show on the scheduled day of arrival without prior notice, the full amount of the reserved stay may be charged, with no right to refund.
7. Hotel stay
Rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. and must be vacated by 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Any damage or inappropriate behavior may result in additional charges or early termination of the stay.
The hotel is non-smoking. Any violation may result in a €250 cleaning fee charged to the guest.
8. Liability
The hotel cannot be held responsible for damages caused by force majeure or acts attributable to the customer.
The hotel’s liability shall not exceed the total amount of the reservation.
9. Personal data
Personal data collected during the booking process is processed in accordance with the GDPR.

10. Complaints and disputes

11. Governing law
These GTCS are subject to French law.
In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction will lie with the courts of Lyon, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legal provisions.
